うちぬき水と芸術文化

内容

うちぬき水と文化芸術をテーマに、西条市内にふさわしい石彫を公募します。その中から１名の方に約３０日間、ご来西いただき、公開制作をしていただきます。またその期間中、作家と交流するため各種イベントを開催し、西条市のうちぬき水と芸術文化について考える機会を市民に提供していただきます。

応募方法

ＨＰ内の設置場所の資料、写真をもとに、制作する彫刻のデザイン、大きさ、使用石種、創作意図をＡ４またはＡ３の用紙にまとめて、募集期間内に届くように下記までお送りください。応募作品の返却は致しません。

応募条件

世界中どの国からでもＯＫです。
往復の交通費は実費負担致します。
4/1～5/6までに当地に滞在できる方に限ります。
滞在費用は実費負担致します。
石種、地元産出の青石（緑泥片岩）に限らせていただきます。石の大きさは自由ですが、開催期間中に仕上がるもの、テーマに合ったものを選ばせていただきます。
石代、運搬費、消耗工具代、設置費用は実費負担致します。
使用工具はこちらで準備いたします。自分の工具を使われる場合はお持ちください。
また、住宅地のため、騒音、粉塵の過大の場合は制限されます。
期間内の各種イベントに参加いただきます。
制作から設置まで責任をもってご協力ください。
制作の報酬はすべての終了後に２０万円が支払われます。自分の作品の販売は可能です。但し、当地にて制作したものは当会の所有とさせていただきます。

■An answer will be send on the end of February.

■The selected artists will have an preparation time from the 1st of March until the end of March.

■She or he will be expected to start working here in Saijo at the 1th of April until the 6th of May 2024.
■It is the circumference of Saijo.
■Uchinuki 21 project in Saijo-city, ehime prefecture, Japan, invites artists to submit a design for a stone sculpture which is to be placed around the river or pond in Saijo-city.
■Name of this event is Uchimuki stone sculpture project.
■Theme of this event is Uchinuki water, art and culture.
■Uchinuki 21 project team will organize every year an event like this in where an artist will be asked to make a stone-sculpture in the period of one month, which will be placed at a selected place.

■Eligible are worldwide artists, costs for travel, lodging, food and for placement of sculpture will be payed.
Stone-materials are only blue schist from near place. And tools will also be provided free of costs. You can also bring your own tools.
The selected artist will receive the payment of 200,000 yen after finishing sculpture
and has to participate in some events, such as teaching children.
There is no entry-fee but an SASE (Send Added Stamp with Envelop) must be included, if you want to take your works after the event.
